Its been too long since I last posted, but it's been a full-on month. Finding the time to post has been hard / i kinda ceeebs as well. Next week I'm off to Bali and then back in town for PFF so there should be a few more post's coming more regularly but thank you to the Three or so Hundred that keep checking Harry & Tom daily you guys are neat!

Below are some photos that I took at my friends opening at Manhattan's. It was a sick night that ended up at some House party in ML then back to ours. So you may remember a while ago my involvement with PFF's Fifteen minutes show and how impressed I was at all the blood sweat and tears that went into it. Well it turns out i wasn't the only one. Kym Ellery, Cult icon and head honcho at Ellery clothing has decided to return to her beloved home town and give all you perth fashionistas (yeah I'm sorry its such a rank word but it has to be used) a chance to not only view her hit S/S 2010/11 collection but buy it in what will be a whirl wind sell out sale, think Stella McCartney for Target all those years ago.

Collective Threads

Last week I had the pleasure of accompanying the wonderful Emma Bergmeier to Curtin University's Collective Threads presentation. Having herd wonderful things about years past, it would be wrong of me not to tell you that i was a little excited. As soon as I walked in i new this grad show would be amazing!
From the shiny sleek steel catwalk to the smoky, yet breathable room filled with the air of a years hard work.

The collection's where stunning! Normally when I think Grad show the undesired thought of tacky unfinished, over accessorised outfits that wouldn't stand a chance in the real market turn me off. but man this was not the case, Every design that was shown on the catwalk was wearable, held strong to the designers aesthetic's and was a bold statement. Wether it be the remarkable digital origami prints of Jennifer Nebel, (a name to keep an eye on) or the textured gowns of Nicola Yeung every piece was amazing!

I must also apologise for keeping you guys out of the loop, I promise to post more then two times a month... Below are a few of my favourite piece's from the show.

So on friday night Pigeonhole asked me to take photos for the opening of Lomovember. For those of you who don't know what Lomovember is it's a charity event incorporating Lomo photography and the love of a good time in aid of Movember. Over all the night was a huge success the beer and wine flowed, the bands played and we all had a neat time. So this Friday night a friend of mine has organised a 1950s themed dance for the Breast Cancer Foundation of Western Australia. Not only will we be there, dancing to 50s tunes and showing off our moves to Grease Lightening, but Harry&Tom will be there to capture the event and what the night has to offer. Plus there’s no way we can resist free cupcakes and drinks. So get dressed up, win some prizes and support this cause.
